Kelim Mikvah

TEVILAT KELIM

Useful information

We’re so thrilled to have a kelim mikvah that is user-friendly for our community and visitors. Here are some helpful things to keep in mind.

Not every item needs tevilah

Halachically, only certain kinds of foodware need to be toveled in a mikvah. When in doubt, check this helpful list.

The dipping basket: Use it or lose it

Our mikvah provides baskets in several sizes, so please use them to dip your items! We’ve had users drop items into the mikvah and call us for help retrieving them from the bottom. If you don’t want that happening to your stuff…use the basket.

The kelim mikvah closes at sunset

The kelim mikvah is located just a few feet away from the entrance to the women’s mikvah. In efforts to protect the privacy of the women, the kelim mikvah is CLOSED every evening shortly before sundown.

Please consider a donation with every use

We’re so glad you can benefit from the kelim mikvah — and need your support to maintain it. We suggest that each time you dip, you donate. $5-$18 is perfect, but any amount is appreciated. Thank you!
